Soft and flexible, it doesn’t crinkle or cause sweat. When it’s time to wash, simply toss your certified organic mattress protector in any washer and dryer. It’s that easy! Plus, it meets MADE SAFE® standards for non-toxicity. STAY SAFE & DRY: Does not use vinyl, PVC, or phthalates — just a thin layer of polyurethane film. That means it sleeps cool while being safe and comfortable — and not dense, rubbery, or crinkly. The waterproof barrier is impenetrable to bed bugs, dust mites, liquids, and other allergens. Construction Our Organic Waterproof Crib Mattress Protector and fitted skirt are stitched with 95% GOTS organic certified cotton and a 5% polyurethane waterproofing layer. They are manufactured for Avocado in Pakistan in a GOTS & GOLS organic certified factory. These are asthma—and allergy-friendly Materials. With certified organic cotton inside and out, our protector is well-suited for anyone with asthma or allergies. However, it does not create a “fully-encased seal” around your mattress, so it is not intended to function as an allergy barrier. Care Instructions Please wash your Organic Waterproof Crib Protector before use with an eco-conscious laundry detergent. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or hang on the line until completely dry. Getting the protector to the proper size may take up to three washes. We made them intentionally big since they are 100% cotton and will shrink.
