This huge #12 skillet was fully restored from the condition we found it locally at a barn sale. It was preserved very well and in stripping it down it revealed a very gorgeous surface. We call the 12's the "bacon skillets" because they handle cooking a full pack of bacon like a charm! It sits flat and does not spin. Great every day AND display pan in your gourmet kitchen! Birmingham Stove and Range produced some of the nicest skillets, dutch ovens and cast iron cookware in the south in the Early to Mid 1900's. The Century Series was one of the later series to be produced, with the earliest having handmade, hand-scribed marked pieces. This classic #8 has been restored and seasoned three times in our oil blend, and is ready to use when you receive it! The skillet is in great shape and is ready to use.
