This green, piquant blend is inspired by the fertile, leafy countryside of Bonga, Ethiopia where we source herbs and spices from a womenâs cooperative. While different from traditional Ethiopian blends, itâs anchored in iconic flavors like koseret (a lemony herb) and besobela (a type of basil). Rub onto chicken, beef, or veggies for mildly hot, lively flavor. Use to season lentils or sautĂ©ed greens. Great for marinating too! Each of our Signature Blends is an original creation by our founder Claire Cheney inspired by the people, places, and seasons encountered in her travels.
