Chef Gianmarco will welcome you to his apartment among the charming alleys of the Roman district located near Piazza Navona, Piazza Farnese, and Campo de' Fiori. You will have the opportunity to experience a gastronomic journey linked to Roman tradition, elaborated in an innovative way. Guanciale, pecorino, ricotta are just some of the locally sourced ingredients proposed by the chef, always respecting seasonality. The dinner will consist of a series of appetizers, the choice between two first course and two main courses, and dessert. During the dinner, there will be a chance to share experiences and interact with the chef to learn more about the origin of typical traditional products. All accompanied by a good glass of wine. Palos Verdes is a stunning peninsula enclave just south of Los Angeles (40 min drive). Transportation will be available. We will start with a stop at the famous Point Vicente Lighthouse for stunning photo opportunities and a brief history of the area and lighthouse; constructed in 1926. From there, we will return to the gated community of Rolling Hills where I will have prepared appetizers and drinks while we sit outside and admire the sunset and view of Los Angeles from the patio and fire pit area. Interested guests can also have a private tour of the orchard, garden, and rose garden. Once the sun sets, guests will be treated to a three course meal in the dining room (or outside, weather permitting) while enjoying the twinkling city lights. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options will be available. Desserts are my specialty and will be determined by the time of year.
