Stand-up Paddle Boarding is one of the best ways to get out and enjoy the water. The sport began as an ancient Hawaiian tradition that was reintroduced to the world in the mid-60’s and has since become the fastest growing board spot in the world, largely credited to the fact that it’s pretty easy to learn! Please note that we give a safety briefing to each renter, but we do not provide stand up paddle board lessons for rentals. If you're new to stand up paddle boarding and would like to learn how, we recommend you check out our lessons first. Due to city regulations, we cannot transport your stand up paddle board to the beach for you. Our stand up paddle boards are inflatable, lightweight boards made for easy transportation from our shop to the beach and back.

San Diego Surf Lessons

Has learning to surf been your dream? It’s a good one to have, and the calm surf in La Jolla makes it one of the greatest spots in San Diego for surfers of all skill levels to learn to surf. Our surf school is located in the beautiful La Jolla Shores (15-minutes north of downtown San Diego), Everyday California offers year-round surf lessons to people of all skill levels ages 5 and up. Whether your goal is to learn to surf and stand up on a board for the first time, or to sharpen your wave riding skills, Everyday California has got you covered. Our instructors respect each student’s choice regarding his or her level of participation in the lesson, and comfort in the water. While having fun riding waves is our passion, your safety is our priority. Everyday California’s snorkel gear rentals allow you to explore La Jolla’s vibrant coastline and diverse marine life on your own. We have masks and snorkels for adults and kids, as well as a wide array of fins to fit almost everyone (We do not have prescription snorkel masks). There is plenty of rental gear if you’re looking to take a large group on the water. Please note that we give a safety briefing to each renter, but we do not provide snorkel lessons for rentals. If you're new to snorkeling and would like to learn how, we recommend you check out our tours first.
