Description

As the end of the 2020 season loomed Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez wasn’t signed up with any team. Despite his spectacular season for Racing Point, they had decided to sign World Champion Sebastian Vettel for 2021. In his last attempt at racing in F1 for the 2021, Sergio Perez put together one of the greatest races at the Sakhir Grand Prix. Having been caught up in an incident and dropping to last place on the opening lap, Checo came back to take his first ever race victory. The performance obviously perked up the ears of Red Bull as they offered the Mexican a contract for the following year. The 2021 season saw Perez take a race win and four more race wins. Last season, 2023, Checo took three race wins nine other podiums, including the sprint races.   This print from David Johnson perfectly encapsulates the Red Bull in motion. The number 11 displayed on the nose, and Perez’s iconic helmet from last season makes this a perfect piece for fans of the Mexican to display however they’d like.   This was Sergio Perez’s best season in Formula 1. In 2021 he finished the championship in 4th, in 2022 it was 3rd and in 2023 Perez managed to finish 2nd in the WDC as he helped Red Bull to their 6th Constructors Championship. I’m not saying that 2024 will see Checo lifting the most important trophy of them all, but the trend does check out...  Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez in his RB19 Red Bull – Best WDC finish, 2nd, WCC winners  Print by David Johnson  A2 size  Comes as a roll  Limited to 1000  Signed and numbered by the Artist
