The Lungangolo shelf by Karakter is Achille Castiglioni’s design from 1991, with an unusual structure that is sure to catch the eye. Castiglioni was often fascinated by corners and other unused areas of the home, and many of his designs are designed for exactly those spaces. Lungangolo is no exception. There are two versions of the Lungangolo shelf that are the mirror images of each other – Castiglioni’s idea was that one will suit the needs of right-handed people and the other will please the left-handed.
