Holosun 509T X2, Green Dot, MRS Reticle, Closed Emitter, Titanium, Solar Failsafe, RMR Footprint - HE509T-GR-X2

The Holosun 509T X2 Green is an enclosed emitter pistol optic made out of Grade 5 Titanium. It has a custom 509T clamping footprint, but ships with an RMR adapter plate. There are many aftermarket 509T adapter plates which can be found here. The 509T X2 is one of the most durable enclosed emitter pistol optics on the market. It’s intended for use on compact or full size pistols. For the best reliability, we recommend mounting the 509T on a slide that has a direct RMR cut slide. If you have a pistol like a Glock MOS with the RMR adapter plate, you would need to create a “plate sandwich” to mount this optic which means stacking two plates on top of each other. In this case we would recommend eliminating one plate by purchasing something like the Glock MOS to 509T adapter plate. This will increase reliability. The 509T X2 features the MRS Reticle (multi reticle system). This gives you a 32 MOA outer ring, and a 2 MOA center dot. The outer ring is useful for finding the dot and up close shots, and the 2 MOA dot is great for precise shooting. In addition to it’s ultra durable Grade 5 Titanium housing, the 509T X2 has a solar failsafe, shake awake, auto and manual brightness modes, 2 nightvision modes, IP67 waterproof rating, side removable battery, and has a battery that will last between 20k-50k hours depending on reticle and brightness levels. The MRS reticle can be toggled to use the 32 MOA circle or 2 MOA dot only by holding down the “-” button for 3 seconds. If you are looking for a duty grade enclosed emitter pistol optic at a competitive price, then this is it. This optic has a green reticle. Green has a few benefits: Green reticles are less straining for the eye to see. Green reticles can help with astigmatism. If you have astigmatism you will see a blurry dot, we have been told by a few customers that Green dots help with their astigmatism, making the dot look more crisp than the red version. Green will not washout on backdrops like green grass, foliage, or green colors. In theory Green dots can have a longer battery life because Green is brighter, so for example a green dot on brightness setting 6 may be the same brightness as a red dot on setting 7 - which would save battery life.
