Each unique skein of Baah Yarn La Jolla is carefully hand painted in small batches in their Las Vegas studio, using only high-quality yarn and professional grade dyes. Please keep in mind that the colors shown on your screen may vary due to differences in computer screen calibration. Images are for color representation only as they may be in a different base yarn. As with all hand-dyed yarns, each skein takes on a slightly different appearance (even when dyed together!) No two will look identical, which makes each skein unique! Kromski's Minstrel Spinning Wheel is an exquisitely detailed Castle style wheel with the Old World elegance of an antique wheel. This double drive wheel with single drive capabilities has an 18" diameter and optional distaff to use with longer staple-length fibers. This multi-functional, charming, vertical style wheel has been found to be more comfortable to many spinners in comparison to off-set wheels. Available in unfinished, finished clear, mahogany, and walnut and includes 3 bobbins, Threading Hook, and Spinning Wheel Oil. Jumbo Flyer kits are available to upgrade your wheel. These expand the spinners range in two ways. First, the type of yarn created can vary from lace-weight to super bulky art yarn because of the larger orifice on the jumbo flyer. Subsequently, the jumbo bobbin allows spinners twice the  capacity of the regular Kromski bobbin.  A regular Kromski bobbin already offers 50% greater space than most standard bobbins in the industry with a generous 4.2 ounce capacity.  Jumbo bobbins double that, essentially allowing you to spin two regular bobbins worth without a bobbin change!!  This means longer, continual drafts for skeins with greater yardage.
