Instead of using the built-in cameras on the headset, it relies on external base stations (Lighthouses) for improved accuracy and a wider range of movement. Base stations are required for the Lighthouse Faceplate to function. The Lighthouse Faceplate integrates with SteamVR setups and is compatible with Pimax Sword controllers, Index Knuckles controllers, HTC VIVE controllers, VIVE Tracker (1.0/2.0/3.0), and Tundra Tracker. This faceplate is compatible with Pimax Crystal, Crystal Sim and Pimax Crystal Light.
