HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED Expertly crafted from solid poplar wood and sap gum, medium density fiberboard and engineered wood. Simply White finish is applied in child-safe, water-based paint; providing durability, depth of color and richness to each piece. The water-based finish meets stringent chemical emission standards. Masterfully crafted with mortise-and-tenon construction, and frame-and-panel joinery for structural integrity. DETAILS THAT MATTER Mattress platform cannot be adjusted, the daybed mattress platform is set at the higher setting to accommodate a trundle. Daybed has a slat-roll foundation, do not use with a box spring. Daybed accommodates a twin-size mattress (mattresses are sold separately). Compatible with our Universal Trundle (sold separately) provides a comfortable extra bed for overnight guests when used with our specially sized Trundle Mattress (sold separately).
