Artist Jason Edmiston brings to life, in an original print, the moment Godzilla bites down on a train. The cars dangle precariously from his ferocious mouth, and his eyes look directly at the viewer. Ultra-detailed images and vibrant colors reveal lifelike scales and spikes that gleam in the light. In the background, buildings crumble amid clouds of smoke. In fact, the poster itself appears to have received some “damage,” as “ripped” pieces expose brick and other brilliant colors and scenes beneath, such as cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji, in a nod to Tokyo.
