The wind gong produces a combined sound of fundamental tone and a spread of overtones, creating a full spectrum of sound colors and timbres. Large wind gongs, 32" and above, have a deeper tone and expanded range of overtones. The sound from these larger gongs spreads and grows, surrounding you like a big warm hug.
