Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS HAT (B) for Raspberry Pi

Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS HAT (B) for Raspberry Pi

Power your Raspberry Pi seamlessly with this Uninterruptable Power Supply HAT (B) from Waveshare! This UPS HAT is designed to ensure your Raspberry Pi has a constant power source in the event of a power cut or when moving between sockets. The HAT holds 2x 18650 batteries (batteries not included but available to buy here) which take over from the included 8.4V power supply whenever it's disconnected or power is cut. When the power supply is connected, the HAT will charge the batteries with comprehensive onboard battery protection. The HAT can provide up to 5A (peak) to your Raspberry Pi via the onboard regulator, allowing lots of headroom for busy projects. Battery warning indicators safeguard against incorrect battery installation, and you can also check the status of your batteries in real-time via I2C, monitoring voltage, current, power and remaining capacity: There's even a 5V USB-A port for powering other devices! The HAT comes complete with a UK power supply, acrylic protection panel and fixings. Please turn the power switch to OFF before you connect batteries! Features Designed for the Raspberry Pi Compatible with Raspberry Pi 4, 3B+/3 Accepts 2x 18650 batteries (not included) Mounts below the Raspberry Pi, leaving your GPIO pins available for HATs and hardware Pogo pin connection to the Raspberry Pi - no GPIO pins consumed Real-time I2C bus communication, monitoring the battery voltage, current, power, and remaining capacity Multi battery protection circuits: overcharge/discharge protection, over current protection, short circuit protection, and reverse protection, along with the equalizing charge feature Onboard 5V regulator, up to 5A continuous output current, more sufficient power source for your Raspberry Pi projects 5V USB output, convenient for powering other boards and accessories Battery warning indicators, easy to check if the battery is connected correctly Online development resources and manual Requires 2x 18650 batteries Specifications Output voltage: 5V Charger: 8.4V 2A Control bus: I2C Battery supported: 2x 18650 Li batteries (NOT included) Dimensions: 56 × 85mm Mounting holes: 3.0mm Package Contents 1x UPS HAT (B) 1x UK 8.4V battery charger 1x Acrylic protection panel 1x Screws pack Raspberry Pi and batteries not included Resources Product Wiki Usage tips Please turn the power switch to OFF before connecting batteries, or the board may be damaged due to shorting After installing batteries, make sure that the Pogo pins are completely aligned with the pin header before turning on the power. If the Pogo pins are not conducting, you can press the pin to loosen it or use a knife to scratch off any oxide layer on the pin header The board may not work when you mount the batteries for the first time, you need to press the Boot button to activate the circuit When connecting the battery for the first time, you need to pay attention to whether the warning LED is on. If the LED is on, it means that the corresponding battery is connected the wrong way round. It is recommended not to exceed 4A when working for long periods or when working with high current loads. It will heat up when working at 5A for long durations. Pay attention to heat dissipation. Use the included power supply only! Using other power sources may cause damage due to large/unstable output power ripples

Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W

Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W

The Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W is a wireless version of the Raspberry Pi Pico 2, offering 2.4GHz 802.11n wireless LAN and Bluetooth 5.2 on top of the usual great features you know and love from the Pico 2! At the heart of the board is the Raspberry Pi RP2350, Raspberry Pi's high-performance, secure microcontroller chip, successor to the popular RP2040 microcontroller first seen on the original Raspberry Pi Pico. Compared to the original Raspberry Pi Pico, the RP2350-based Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W offers a higher core clock speed, double the on-chip SRAM, double the on-board flash memory, more powerful Arm cores, optional RISC-V cores, new security features, and upgraded interfacing capabilities! These significant performance and feature improvements are delivered with the same form factor and are software-compatible with the original Raspberry Pi Pico series boards, with the same GPIO pinout and micro-USB connector for power and programming, allowing you to easily upgrade your projects and re-use your collection of Raspberry Pi Pico add-ons, cables and accessories. Programmable in C / C++ and Python, and with detailed documentation, Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W is the ideal microcontroller board for enthusiasts and professional developers alike. Don't need wireless capability? Grab a Raspberry Pi Pico 2 instead and save a few bucks! RP2350 Onboard The unique dual-core, dual-architecture capability of RP2350 allows users to choose between a pair of industry-standard Arm Cortex-M33 cores, and a pair of open-hardware Hazard3 RISC-V cores. The RP2350 provides a comprehensive security architecture, built around Arm TrustZone for Cortex-M, and incorporates signed boot, 8KB of antifuse OTP for key storage, SHA256 acceleration, a hardware TRNG, and fast glitch detectors. These features, including the secure boot ROM, are extensively documented and available to all users without restriction: this transparent approach, which contrasts with the “security through obscurity” offered by legacy vendors, allows professional users to integrate RP2350, and Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W, into projects and products with confidence. Essential Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W Accessories To make the most of your new board, here is a list of essential Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W accessories (or head to our Pico accessories section and have a rummage!): Micro-USB cable - To provide power from your computer and program the board Fancy laptop only has USB-C ports? Grab one of these USB-C to Micro-USB cables instead! Colour-coded headers - Allowing you to use the board with a solderless breadboard and/or jumper wires with easy pin navigation We also offer a standard set, stacking set, female set and some unique coloured versions! Breadboard for Pico - A special breadboard with printed Raspberry Pi Pico pinout to make projects easier! SparkFun EasyDriver - Stepper Motor Driver

SparkFun EasyDriver - Stepper Motor Driver

The EasyDriver is a simple to use stepper motor driver, compatible with anything that can output a digital 0 to 5V pulse (or 0 to 3.3V pulse if you solder SJ2 closed on the EasyDriver). The EasyDriver requires a 6V to 30V supply to power the motor and can power any voltage of stepper motor. The EasyDriver has an onboard voltage regulator for the digital interface that can be set to 5V or 3.3V. Connect a 4-wire stepper motor and a microcontroller and you've got precision motor control! EasyDriver drives bi-polar motors, and motors wired as bi-polar. I.e. 4,6, or 8 wire stepper motors. This EasyDriver V4.5 has been co-designed with Brian Schmalz. It provides much more flexibility and control over your stepper motor when compared to older versions. The microstep select (MS1 and MS2) pins of the A3967 are broken out allowing adjustments to the microstepping resolution. The sleep and enable pins are also broken out for further control. Note: Do not connect or disconnect a motor while the driver is energized. This will cause permanent damage to the A3967 IC. Note: This product is a collaboration with Brian Schmalz. A portion of each sales goes back to them for product support and continued development. Get Started with the Easydriver Guide Features A3967 Microstepping Driver MS1 and MS2 pins broken out to change microstepping resolution to full, half, quarter and eighth steps (defaults to eighth) Compatible with 4, 6, and 8 wire stepper motors of any voltage Adjustable current control from 150mA/phase to 700mA/phase Power supply range from 6V to 30V.
