The Calathea 'Rosy' (Calathea roseopicta), also known as the Rose Painted Calathea, features striking oval leaves with silvery pink centers that contrast beautifully against the deep green background. Like other prayer plants in its family, it raises and lowers these leaves from day to night, a phenomenon called nyctinasty! This plant is also non-toxic and safe to keep around curious pets and children. NOTE: The pink pigmentation may vary from plant to plant—some may arrive with pink tones, others may need a bit more time to blush. But don’t worry!
