The FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus iCGM Sensor Kit does not currently include a reader with a built-in glucose blood glucose meter. Sensors are not compatible with the first generation FreeStyle Libre 14 day system or Freestyle Libre 2 system.

How to apply the FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus Sensor
1. Select site on the back of upper arm. Do not use other sites as these may result in inaccurate glucose readings.
Avoid scars, moles, stretch marks, lumps, and insulin injection sites. Toprevent skin irritation, rotate sites between applications.
2. Prepare your skin. Wash site using a plain soap, dry, and then clean with alcohol wipe. Allow site to air dry before proceeding.
3. Apply the sensor.Â
A. Unscrew cap from Sensor Applicator.
B. Place Sensor Applicator over site and push down firmly to apply Sensor.
C. Gently pull Sensor Applicator away from your body.
D. Make sure Sensor is secure. Put the cap back on the Sensor Applicator. Discardthe used Sensor Applicator according to local regulations.
4. Start new Sensor with App.Â

At this time, FreeStyle Libre 3 is not currently eligible for Medicare reimbursement, and Medicaid eligibility may vary by state.
* Data from this study was collected with the outside US version of the FreeStyle Libre 14 day system. FreeStyle Libre 3 has the same features as FreeStyle Libre 14 day system with real-time glucose alarms. Therefore, the study data is applicable to both products.
