The PL100 treats your discs with care, and it handles the technical side—error correction, jitter reduction, stable playback—with ease. Decoding that brings out the details The built-in CS43131 chip goes beyond typical CD playback. It handles digital-to-analog conversion with precision, which means subtle bits and pieces in your favorite recordings have a better chance of coming through. High signal-to-noise ratio (110dB) and low distortion (THD+N of 0.001%) keep your source material sounding clean from start to finish. A second PLL that lowers the noise floor This player’s internal design leans on a second PLL (Phase Locked Loop) circuit to reduce jitter during CD playback. The result is a more stable clock signal that leaves your music sounding more natural.  Optical and coaxial outputs for more flexibility The PL100 comes with both optical and coaxial outputs. It does not decode MQA itself, but it easily passes a raw digital signal to your preferred external DAC that can handle MQA. The result is more freedom to customize your system.  Headphone output that actually delivers The front-panel 3.5mm headphone output isn’t just there as a courtesy. It offers enough power—60mW at 32Ω—to handle a range of headphones without breaking a sweat.
