This is our most popular kit. It comes with a sensor that quickly mounts on the track. If you have a standard sectional garage door and verified no parts of the door glide up / down over the J-track, this is the kit you want. Night Mode automatically protects your home at night without affecting daytime operation. And of course you can configure what time "Night" begins, what time it ends, and the delay before closing. Auto-Close If you’re distracted when you leave home and you forget to close the garage door, auto-close will detect this and close the door for you. Door Disable Need to work around the yard or in the garage and you don't want any automations or shared access users opening / closing the door? No problem. Disable it until a certain time or until you decide you want control restored again. Works when the internet is down Unlike other solutions that rely on cloud connectivity, if your internet goes down Tailwind will still allow you to control the door as long as your phone is on your Home WiFi network. Notifications that tell you more A notification that says "Garage Door Opened" just isn't good enough. With Tailwind, activity notifications tell you who or what operated the door if it was done through our system. For example "Alexa opened garage door 3" or "Jerry closed West Garage". Notifications can be spoken / verbal "your garage door just opened" or the usual notification sound of your smartphone / smart device. Auto-Close Timer Want to make sure your door is closed any time of the day or night? Set a timer to notify you if the door is left open for a pre-determined period of time or optionally close it. The Tailwind auto-close feature is meant to be an "in case you forget" feature, providing extra peace of mind. Like all internet-based communications, there may be rare instances when communications between the mobile app and garage device are temporarily down, and auto-close might not work if that interruption lasts for an extended period of time. ***   NOTE: Please check for lifting cable brackets at the bottom edges of your garage door where the lifting cables may be attached. If lifting cable brackets are present and they glide up / down over the J-track they will collide with the sensor in this kit.
