These are the correct sizes for this weight range with these covers, since different items run differently and fit differently. These items all go together correctly. Note this kit does not contain Thirsties Duo Wraps like the smaller-sized kits do. The next size up from Duo Wrap size Two is the Thirsties Cover size Large which is included in this kit. This size Large Thirsties Cover is smaller than Thirsties Duo Wrap Size Three at the smallest rise setting but it is larger than Thirsties Duo Wrap Size Two at the largest rise setting. It is in between and works well with the diapers in this kit. This kit contains a dozen diapers, 2 covers and a few accessories so you are ready to give natural diapering a real try, or perhaps boost your existing stash. 12 diaper changes. Add another cover or two separately as you choose. When a diaper is needed, use a diaper - training pants don't do what real cloth diapers do. Why Large prefolds diapers in the XLarge kit? If you need XL prefolds, usually the XL Workhorse are getting too small. While there is size overlap and you might prefer the extra absorbency of the XL prefolds while the XL Workhorse still fit, we don't want to imply that the XL Workhorse will fit as big or a long as the XL prefolds will, so we don't have a kit built that way. The size jumps are different for different products. Size jumps come sooner in Workhorse than in prefolds. That is, Workhorse run smaller than prefolds for the same size-name. See our prefold size chart here. Diaper covers can usually be re-used through several changes. Change just the inner absorbency part and put the same cover back on for a few changes, or alternate between 2 covers at each change. That means change the prefold or the Workhorse (the inner absorbency part) and re-use the cover several times before washing it. It is quick to hand wash out a cover as needed in between machine washings. Change the cover if soiled or if it becomes too damp or gets odors. Prefer a different print or prints?
