Description

Stunning Leaves of Rhaphidophora Decursiva Decursiva is robust climbing aroid with long aerial roots. In their natural habitat the leaves of this plant can grow up to 40 inches long. These plants are often categorized as Monstera, but despite having common descendants these are two different genera. You can use a moss poll to support its vining growth. Care and Maintenance They enjoy bright in-direct light, but adapt well to lower light conditions too. Just avoid direct sunlight and keep the soil a tiny bit moist, but not soggy. Wipe their long leaves every few weeks, or bring it in to shower with you. After spending years on curating a selection of confidence building plants, we are now bringing you some bespoke and highly desirable plants. No matter what your growing experience level is, our phenomenal online houseplant selection has all the tips and tools you need for a successful green thumb. We are working with local growers in New York region to find these rarities that come in limited quantities. Most of these plants are also suitable for new plant parents. At this point we are unable to provide a pet-friendly-only option, but there will be a few of those in the selection. Depending on which version of the plan you choose, you’ll receive one plant with our hand-painted 6" clay pot, or one plant without any pot. Varieties will vary based on availability but may include plants like Philodendron Pink Princess, Alocasia Cuprea, Black Jewel Orchid, rare Hoyas, Begonias and Anthurium etc.  Please read before ordering:  The value of each plant we are sending you will probably fluctuate depending on how rare it is, but please be assured that at the end of 6 months you will be getting the best value for your money, and the total amount will average out. Also, since these are all small-batch plants we won't be able to offer any replacement or refunds unless there was an issue reported within 3 days of the shipment delivery (with photos). Shipping We ship plants Nationwide and the cost of shipping is included for 6 months. Plants are sensitive creatures, and we have many years of experience packing each kit with a lot of care. Subscription Cut-Off New subscription cut-off for the month is the 25th, so if you subscribe after that, your first plant will be for the following month. Cancelation This subscription cannot be cancelled during the 6 months, but it will automatically expire and you won't be charged again. Note regarding pet-friendly plants:  We have crosschecked each plant species with ASCPA's library of non-toxic plants, and rest assured, none of them will cause any harm if ingested. But please be advised that even though a plant is non-toxic, the consumption of any plant material may still cause vomiting and gastrointestinal upset for dogs and cats. Our month-to-month subscription is designed to soothe your anxieties and develop confidence in plant care.  To start, you’ll receive our favorite hardy plants that are easy to care for. As you grow in confidence each month, we’ll slowly introduce you to more exotic species and provide you with easy, friendly instructions on how to sustain your plants as you build lasting plant-care habits.  Depending on the plan you choose, you will receive a plant with a 6" clay pot and saucer. Some months we send fun exercises along with planting tools/accessories. Shipping Your first plant will ship immediately. We ship plants Nationwide and shipping cost is calculated during checkout. Plants are sensitive creatures, and we have many years of experience packing each kit with a lot of care. All packages are sent through USPS or UPS. For our New York customers we offer a very economical (and social) option of Pick-Up from our Williamsburg showroom - Horti PLAY. Please check our FAQs for more details on shipping and pickup.   Pot optionsChoose from our signature hand-painted white terracotta pot, or get a different color pot each month (currently 4 colors available). Pothos is also known as the devil's ivy, because it is almost impossible to kill. It is popular in temperate regions and is a great choice for a houseplant. It can handle low-light conditions and is known to be  an excellent air-purifier. All of it’s varieties have long-growing, leafy vines, some that can reach 40 feet or more in tropical jungles. We have these hanging plant baskets in two manageable sizes that can be repotted easily, or you can keep them as is.  Marble Queen has white variegation on leaves. Golden has yellow variegation. Neon has bright neon green leaves. Care Each variety is very hardy and easy to maintain. Just avoid direct sunlight and keep the soil a tiny bit moist, but not soggy. These plants are not safe for pets.

A houseplant staple, Peperomia Green Peperomia obtusifolia or the baby rubber plant is from the pepper family. A versatile plant that can sustain a bit of abuse and has minimalist waxy spoon like leaves.  These plants have semi-succulent properties, which means that they are able to store moisture in their fleshy stems or leaves to fall back on when needed. These are ‘easy to care’ for plants with an extensive variety. They can also easily be propagated just from a leaf cutting.Care and MaintenanceOver-watering is the main cause of serious problems with Peperomia. So let the top soil get fully dry before watering. It can handle medium light but will do great in bright rooms.  What's included - Plant- Plant care and repotting instruction cards- 6" hand-painted terracotta pot & saucer (if ordered)- Dehydrated soil wafer is included with pot   This plant is safe for pets.
